Beckham on top in USRA Modified debut at Bolivar

BOLIVAR, Mo. -- The USRA Modifieds made their debut at Bolivar Speedway USA on Friday night, March 31, with a full field of cars battling on the 1/3-mile high-banked clay oval.
The season-opener for the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series saw Webb City, Mo., racer Terry Beckham Jr. hold off Jesse Stovall for the victory. Jody Tillman finished third, followed by David Holder in fourth and veteran Rex Merritt rounding out the top-5 finishers.
Racing action continues next Friday, April 7, at Bolivar Speedway USA featuring USRA-sanctioned Modifieds, along with Speedway USA Cup, Late Model, Super Stock, Factory Stock, Bomber, Rookie and Pro 4 classes.
